Wonderful stop on a road trip to let your kids run around and release some energy. Soft ground, great area for younger ages including toddler swings (and a range of things for other ages), and bathrooms with changing table. Also some shaded picnic tables. It's just off I-81 (although you have to go a bit out of the way to get to it).
Fantastic family park day. Top of the line play ground. One pavilion area can be reserved, and another nearby is open for anyone to use, anytime. 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no shade in the playground area. On a hot day, bring lots of water to drink.
There are lots of outdoor activities, from a playground to a fitness trail. There's even disc golfing. You can pack a lunch and stay all day, because there's a pavilion with picnic tables. They also have a public restroom that's open seasonally. I highly recommend visiting.
Great park. Clean, not wood so no worry for splinters. Kids run around barefoot. My daughter loves it here! They have four sliding boards, rock wall to climb, ropes to climb, tires to climb. Lots of ladders and bridges. Its AWESOME! Not to mention the swings, sandbox, the adult exercise course and more!
Wonderful location for the community! We love adventure Park, next to vibrant Church off lambs Gap rd. It's a handicap accessible park for kids of all abilities and able bodied kids too! Well maintained by volunteers, modern safe equipment. Tends to get crowded in the summer afternoons. Nice clean bathrooms and water fountain nearby. Two different sides of the park (younger kid area and big kid area) for all players.
