He spent time evaluating my situation and provided a plan that includes medication and re-evaluation in several months before a possibility of surgery. After a bad experience, Dr. Abram's office contacted me. While at my initial appointment the office was either unable or unwilling to be attentive to treating my condition which led to me ultimately leaving after two hours of waiting and only 5 minutes in front of the doctor with whom I had difficulty getting to accept what my ear problems were, they called to make up for their oversight and to apologize. I understand we all have bad days. I am willing to attribute my experience to the doc having one. Bottom line is I came to see a specialist with a condition affecting me quite seriously and I expected to be received professionally by an empathetic professional dedicated to providing their patient attention, answers and peace of mind. While this did not happen at my appointment, the office reached out an offered another appointment to make good on it. It may be too little too late, but the effort should not go unnoticed.
Dr. Abrams was very easy to talk to and discussed at length the options best fit for me. He made it a point to ensure non-surgical options were attempted prior to suggesting surgery. I am very thankful I had the baloon procedure. It has been a significant improvement for me.
