I was in last week for my first appointment with Kate Brown who I must say was the sweetest and all of the staff from the receptionist, nurse were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and I only waited about 1 minute before I was taken back to the room. I had lab work done the next day and the once again everything went great. The nurse called me later that same day with my results. So far I have been very pleased with everything!!

When I initially read the reviews, I thought "that can't be right...I've never had a bad experience there." But then it happened. Let me start off by saying that all of the nurses/doctors that I've been seen by are very friendly. However, I was seen 2 weeks ago and was told that I could start receiving refills on my prescription again. I called the pharmacy yesterday (two weeks after my appointment, when I ran out of medication). They said that they had never received the refill approval. Called doctors office. They told me that the pharmacy ended up sending a request in to them two weeks after my appointment (because for whatever reason, my prescription was never sent in). The office also told me that I would have wait an additional 3 business days for the pharmacy's request to go through. I will be 5 days off of my daily prescription and will not be receiving it until approximately 2.5 weeks after my appointment. I am not very happy right now.

Today I had a routine follow-up visit. I am so glad I chose this practice and this provider. Dr. Judith (I know she's a CRNP, not a doctor...but she deserves more respect than to be called by only her first name) makes me feel very comfortable at my visits. She's firm...she pins me down on when I'm going to take care of my follow-up items like blood work, mammogram, and diet changes. (At first her firmness intimidated me a little, but I've grown to truly appreciate it. She keeps me honest & makes me do the things I know I should.) She is thorough, she never makes me feel rushed, and at the end of the visit, I feel like I have received healthCARE. I feel cared for. I feel like she cares that I do what is right for me. As someone who avoided the doctor for years, that is IMPORTANT. It means I'm going to keep coming back, keep doing what I should.

As an added bonus, the office staff at this practice is great, too. The front desk staff is efficient and welcoming, the medical assistants are personable and capable, and even the check-out person is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant and I suspect that they are having fun while getting their work done. I like that!

Our entire family of 5 sees Dr. Wilson. From the new call center agents, to the desk staff, referrals, Medical Assistants and of course Dr. Wilson.....we could not be more pleased, or taken better care of. I am a pain management patient, and never have a problem with my scripts. If there is, and there have been a few simple mistakes, it is handled immediately with no issues. I would, and have recommended others to go to this office, if possible. We could not have chosen a better office or Family Care Provider than SSFP and Dr. Wilson. The time, care, and relationship we each have are splendid. We love this office, the staff, and won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Thank you, SSFP, and Dr. Wilson for taking such great care of our Family.

constantly waste time by scheduling appointments with information they could just relay over the phone, now that Dr Uniacke is gone, I'm happily switching practices!

I enjoy going to the doctor about as much as the next guy: not at all. In fact, I went nine years without a primary care physician after moving to Central PA. I was a mom to infant twins and didn't have the time to take care of myself, and I didn't want a doctor reminding me of that.
